Christmas is coming early to Murphy, North Carolina! On November 15 – 16, the holiday season will start off with a bang at the Murphy Hometown Christmas Celebration. This annual family event will begin with a downtown ceremony on Friday the 15th at 6pm and continue next day with a shopping extravaganza on Saturday the 16th. 1. Beautiful tree lighting ceremony.
