The Ten Commandments
The highlight of Fields of the Wood is the enormous Ten Commandments display. Painted on to a grassy hill, this impressive creation is crowned with a 30 foot high Bible at the top of the two tablets.
In addition to the World’s Largest Ten Commandments, Fields of the Wood features a number of other great attractions. The All Nations Cross is a breathtaking collection of flags from around the world arranged into a cross. Prayer Mountain is a gorgeous path leading to an 80 foot altar that is lined with stones engraved with quotes and ideas from the Bible. Visitors will also see a replica of Jesus’s tomb, a Baptismal Pond, and a Gospel Theater.
For lunch, we recommend stopping by the cafe in the gift shop. You’ll find delicious sandwiches and generous portions at this quaint restaurant. Fields of the Wood has a special picnic area, so you can enjoy your meal outside while enjoying the park’s natural beauty.
