Free Art Walk Event Returns to Murphy for 2022 Season
We are excited to announce that the Murphy Art Walk is back for another season! Presented by the Valley River Arts Guild, this free event in Murphy, NC is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the work of local artists, musicians, and chefs. With Art Walks scheduled every month, there’s a good chance one will be going on during your stay at Mountain Country Cabins. When and Where
The Murphy Art Walk takes place the first Friday of every month May through December. All of the fun takes place in the art galleries, restaurants, and other businesses in historic downtown Murphy. The festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Please note that the event will carry on rain or shine, so don’t be afraid of a little wet weather! In addition to the art demonstrations, there will be music on the Square, arts and crafts, and interactive experiences for kids of all ages! This is the perfect place to bring the family for a fun time of browsing, dancing, and dining in downtown Murphy! Plus, there is no admission fee.

What to Expect
Downtown Murphy really comes to life during the Art Walk! The streets will be filled with visitors, locals, and live music from some of the area’s best bands.
