3 - Empty Bowls from 5-7 pm at the John C. Campbell Folk School. 

18 - Medieval Minstrels. John C Campbell Folk School, starting at 2:30pm.

 

April

14 - 4th Annual Rumble for Relay. Rivers Edge Mountain RV Resort. Registration at 8:00am, Bikes roll at 10:am. Enjoy an 80 mile guided tour through Western NC & East TN.

15 - Renaissonics.  John C Campbell Folk Shcool, starting at 2:30pm.

May

4 - Murphy Art Walk, 5-8pm. Free. (Every first Friday through November)

16 - Cherokee County Chamber Golf Classic.  A day of golf and good fun.  1:00pm at Cherokee Hills Golf Course. 

 18 & 19 - American Cancer Society Relay for Life.  Begins at 7:00pm, will continue all night with closing ceremony Saturday morning.  For more info call 828-837-9180.

JUNE

1 - Murphy Art Walk, 5-8pm  Free.

2 - 2nd Annual Art, Music and Garden Festival.  L&N Depot.  9am-4pm.

9 - The Annual Gala and Benefit Auction will be held at the John C. Campbell Folk School at 5:00pm in the Community Room of the Keith House. 

June 26-July4 - 55nd Wagon Train will gather in Andrews, Saddle up to ride and explore the area in and around Andrews and the Valley River valley with the nation's oldenst wagon train.

16 - The Murphy Hometown Chrismas Celebration begins at 6:00pm with tree lighting ceremony, music and entertainment. 

DECEMBER

1 - Hometown Christmas Parade. Downtown Murphy with crafts, food, entertaiment and parade. Events begin at 2:00pm.

8 - Andrews Night Time Christmas Parade. Downtown Andrews Parade.
