The John C. Campbell Folk School Fall Festival is a cherished annual celebration of Appalachian culture that features more than 250 fine craft exhibitors lined along the school’s paths. This is also a unique opportunity to view over 30 artisans as they demonstrate a variety of contemporary and traditional crafts. The festival features entertainment throughout the weekend, including dance performances and live music on two stages. If you have children in your family, they can enjoy fun activities such as pony rides, face painting, arts and crafts, and more! There will be plenty of food vendors on hand to satisfy your appetite and proceeds benefit several non-profit and community organizations. While attending the festival, be sure to stop by the Folk School’s Craft Shop where you can view fine crafts from more than 300 juried regional artists and have the chance to win a $100 gift certificate to the shop!

John C. Campbell Folk School’s Fall Festival takes place on Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th, 2017, from 10 AM to 5 PM each day. Admission Information
Admission to the John C. Campbell Folk School Fall Festival is only $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids ages 12-17, and free for kids under 12. Please note that there are no ATMs on the school campus, so guests are encouraged to bring cash to pay for tickets and food.
